Symmetrical Soccer is a comprehensive training system that guarantees improved ball skills, fitness, and match preparedness for boys and girls of all ages and experience levels.
What makes this training program unique is that it's specifically designed to close the skills gap between the athlete's right and left foot by working both feet symmetrically, within the sequence of the same exercise.
The system consists of groups of exercises that can be divided into four main categories:
Stationary, Lateral, Forward Moving and Restricted Spaces.
A. Stationary exercises, which serve as building blocks for the entire system, are exercises where the athlete stays in a small zone while performing symmetrical drills with the ball.
B. With Lateral exercises, the movements are of course lateral, while being completely symmetrical in nature. These exercises are perfect to allow the player additional means of creating space in soccer action.
C. Then, there are Forward Moving exercises with the ball designed to support appropriate 1v1 match action.
D. Finally, exercises in Restricted Spaces help trainees obtain additional precision in their ball handling skills.
